The CED International Conference will be held on Thursday 1 June 2017. This years conference will take place at Hotel Wellington in Madrid: city of Goya, elegant boulevards and parks, legendary football clubs and a pleasant atmosphere. Hotel Wellington is situated in the Salamanca district, one of the most representative areas for bourgeois madrileños. An excellent location for the CED International Conference!
During the day you are offered interesting and comprehensive insights along with debate on current and future challenges in a 21st century claims environment across Europe. Various speakers from different countries will inspire you to engage in dialogue on topics such as the protection of victims of cross border accidents, evolutions and future challenges, chaired by a representative of the Council of Bureaux. We will also look at the role of governmental bodies in the handling of claims from international victims of terrorist attacks, with a further exploration of a single case of personal injury settlement from the perspective of different EU countries. We will further analyze the impact of blockchain technology in international claims handling. Please refer to the conference website to view the full program.
