After eight years as CEO of CED Group, Hans Coffeng (53) makes way for new leadership. It is an appropriate moment; CED has responded adequately and has a grip on the COVID situation, is continuing its growth with solid financial results, and has various future-oriented (digital) projects in progress.
Under the leadership of Hans Coffeng, CED broadened its focus from loss adjustment to full-service claims management. Newly introduced services such as Repair in Kind, Claims Connect, and Emergency Assistance Services underline this. Hans Coffeng: “CED is a great company with fine professionals and a lot of expertise. CED always knows how to adapt to market trends and developments. Like the consequences of Corona at the moment. It gives great satisfaction to be able to help people with damage and all our clients in Europe are happy with our high-quality services that are increasingly digitally supported. This makes CED well-positioned for important social projects such as the Groningen earthquake damages and the Dutch national source-contact-tracing for the GGD’s (Municipal Health Services). CED matters, that's why I have faith in its European future! I thank all colleagues and business relations for the fine collaboration.”
Damien Lestang, Supervisory Board Member and partner at shareholder BlackFin: “We are very grateful to Hans Coffeng for his efforts and successes in recent years and look back at a constructive collaboration. Hans has given CED a lot of positive élan, towards employees and customers. His strategy and direction will remain unchanged! With the departure of Hans, we will look for a replacement who can lead CED to the next phase in the coming years. Until then, François Goffinet (COO) and Jan Willem Wolffenbuttel (CFO) will assume final responsibility ad interim.”
