CED is again one of the best-managed companies in the Netherlands. Deloitte announced this repeat achievement for CED last Wednesday, 7 February, recognizing CED as one of the 51 Best Managed Companies.
The designation is part of the Best Managed Companies programme. To this end, Deloitte assesses companies on the basis of the Business Maturity Model, which examines both internal and external business profiles.
Faster, better, more client-focused
Said CED’s CEO Hans Coffeng: ‘It's gratifying that CED has once again been selected as a Best Managed Company. We see improving processes in the insurance sector as a challenge: to make processes faster, better and more client-focused. CED is happy to take the initiative in innovation. If an external party then recognizes that we, in the midst of all these developments, are again one of our country's Best Managed Companies - for another year - that says something about the commitment and resilience of CED and its employees. It makes us very proud.’
About the Best Managed Companies program
In search of the best-managed businesses in the category of Dutch medium to large companies, Deloitte assesses the strategy, operational management, degree of innovation and financial results of the participating companies, using the Business Maturity Model. The model was developed together with the University of Utrecht. The Best Managed Companies programme focuses on Dutch companies which have a turnover of at least twenty-five million Euros, are financially healthy and have share-holding or independently-operating management.
