Lourens Schouwink (54) takes over as new CFO of CED Holding B.V. on 13 January, replacing Wim van der Helm who has retired.

Lourens Schouwink is currently CFO of Samsung Electronics BeNeLux. Before that he was Finance Director for Amgen Europe (pharmaceuticals) for three years and prior to that held various (financial) positions for a period of 17 years at Unilever. Schouwink and Hans Coffeng form the Board of Directors of CED Holding. Schouwink: "The developments in and challenges of the claims sector intrigue me, and I think CED is well-positioned to maintain its lead as a successful player in this market going forward."

After 32 years with the company Wim van der Helm said a fond farewell to CED at the end of December. "I am confident that CED will do well despite the current economic challenges and changes. We are a financially healthy company - and we benefit from the characteristic Rotterdam common sense! CED now has a relatively young Board of Directors and a breath of fresh air can only benefit the company in these times", said van der Helm.
